Anyone with ServiceNow platform expertise must agree to fact that MID server plays a crucial role in rendering services between instance and customer environment.

The MID server status does not indicate whether the service is active or not!!! The MID server status, is a communication channel between the Customer environment and the ServiceNow instance.
